I have been working in the real estate industry for well over a decade and through the years, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to assist hundreds of home buyers relocating into this beautiful and extraordinary city, as well as, folks simply moving from one community to another or across town. I've been living in this awesome city since July 15, 1981 and have loved every day of it. I am proud to call myself a real Floridian. When I first moved here, my job involved a great deal of on the road sales, which afforded me the opportunity to travel throughout the vast majority of this wonderful state. With that said, I realized very quickly Orlando was the place for me and my children. I continued to travel the state for a few more years and enjoyed it, but something was missing. My job was hum-drum; same thing every day; same people every six weeks; rather uneventful with no peaks, no valleys and the bottom line was that I wasn't really changing lives. I sold supplies and took inventory. What I was looking for was a career that would not only make me happy, but others as well. That's what attracted me to real estate. For me, there was nothing as satisfying as knowing that I could help someone fulfill their dream of owning a home.

I sold HUD properties for a while, but back then it was totally different than it is now. The highest bidder always won, which in my opinion was not always a good thing. Many home buyers could not realize their dream of home ownership simply because they couldn't bid high enough for the property. I went looking for something more and was drawn to new home sales. I was hired by a builder and set to work helping buyers build their dream homes. Even though I loved my work, it was hard for me to put the interests of the buyers second to those of the builder for whom I worked. That led to my decision to go work for a real estate company as a buyer's agent. Working as a buyer's agent was a one of the best decisions I have ever made and I worked for that company for many years.

From day one I've had passion for this industry. Don't get me wrong, making money is important too, but it's a great feeling to wake up each day knowing that you are going to help someone find just the right home; one that's right for them and help them from the beginning to the end of the entire process. I've made many friends and helped folks from all over the world buy their homes in Orlando. My entire real estate career has been built around the fact that my clients are most important of all.

I developed Florida Homes Realty because I wanted a real estate company that could set a standard of real estate services, second to none, not only for home buyers, but for home sellers too. For many years, I had the opportunity to give my home buyers the highest possible level of service and I felt strongly that home sellers should have access to the same level of service. Two fellow colleagues in the Tampa area had already set that same high standard for their buyers and sellers and joined me on my mission a few years ago. Together it is our goal to offer the best possible assistance from start to finish to our home buyers and home sellers throughout Central Florida. Our clients are our #1 priority and they always will be.
